GET OUT THERE and GET JAK'D
Why is the challenge so long?
Research shows that it takes roughly 66 days to form new habits. We want you to not only form new habits, but to excel in them, surpassing your own expectations.
Why shouldn't I choose another fitness program?
While fitness is a part of our program and fitness programs provide many benefits, we want you to come out better physically AND mentally. We encourage more exercise than the amount listed on the challenge, but we also don't want to overwhelm our participants. The purpose of this challenge is to let people know that no matter what our circumstances are, little amounts help.
What spreadsheet am I getting when I sign up?
Upon signing up, all participants will gain access to our spreadsheet that helps them track their daily and challenge-long goals. The things that we say to write down? There's a slot in the spreadsheet for that. Tracking JAK Passes? There's a slot in the spreadsheet for that. Want to see how much you've saved? You guessed it-there's a spot in the spreadsheet for that.
What are JAK passes (cheat days)?
JAK passes are our cheat days. We understand that life happens and events, holidays, birthdays, etc. never stop just because you decide that you're going to make changes. Trust us, we know how hard it is to pass on the pumpkin pie that only shows up at Thanksgiving and how delicious the sweets look at little Jimmy's First Communion. We don't want you to miss those memories because you decide to put your wellbeing first, nor do we want you to spiral down because you've messed up. Each participant has 10 JAK Passes to use on days when you can't workout, really want that pumpkin pie, couldn't resist the #2 at Chick Fil A (with a milkshake, of course), or all 3 in one day. Get off track, realize why you did, change habits, and move forward with accountability. Plan out those JAK Passes!
